Summer Chill/Tan/Summer Mix 2012
A shot of Lake Seymour from the boat trip from yesterday. Nothing better than being on a boat with friends, good music, squirt guns/water balloons, and of course cocktails.
Amazing day yesterday! Spent the day out in Oxford at Shawn & Ashley’s. Spent most of the day on the boat with friends. Smoke, drink, swim, dance, laugh. BBQ to follow. Buzzed to the max. Next we all headed to this sleazy country bar called Cascadens for Jordan’s bday. Felt COMPLETELY out of place but had fun because of this. This place was ridiculous- couch recliners were used for bar stools, pickeled eggs were sold in a jar, people were line dancing, and they had a full arcade room complete with a Jurassic Park: The Lost World game! Played lots of air hockey. More binge drinking. More arcade games. Dancing. Getting hit on by locals. ”You’re too pretty to be with these guys.” ”I know.” Ha! $28 tab (MOTHER OF GOD HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE). Rachel drove us back to Jordan’s in her mini-van. Watched Dinosaurs in the car ride. Bonfire back at Jordan’s. Passing bottles among other objects. The guys wrestle. I smoke the first cigarette i’ve smoked in almost a year. Bdubs rips it out of my mouth and tells me it makes me look ugly. Ha! I love my friends! Bed time. Woke up early as fuck (as I do whenever I sleep somewhere that is not my own bed). Jordan’s roommate (aka his mom) made us all breakfast. A nice meal before the journey to pick up my car.
Ahh, summer is here.
This Saturday is off to a rad start- prepping for the boat with the gang. First things first, filling water guns up with Jack. Pretty legit.
Shorts season, bout that time!
This has been a pretty amazing weekend! Impromptu party at the house on Friday. Cinco de Mayo festivities on Saturday. Chill Sunday Funday with the gang.
Sunday Funday with the gang- mimosas, homemade breakfast sandwiches, and A Nightmare on Elm Street marathon. I think yes.
